A quad should have 8 or 12 dsps, an octo, 16 or Why aren't they doing that?īecause a diva -like synths would only get 3 or 4 notes polyphony on an octo card, that would not be a great advertising. I wish uad could tell us if their dsp cards got chosen because they offer more power than a fast cup, or because they can use it as a huge hardware dongle. Even more, when uad lie to their future customers about the cards instance count, by using as reference LOL at the guys who pay euros for an octo card, to find out there are a few plug-ins that they might only use ONCE.
